Aiden Quotes or Funnies:* While playing with his new friend, Kate....Kate says to her mom, "can I hold his hand?". Aiden hears her, and says "mommy, she wants to hold sand". I just smiled and said "no, I think she wants to hold your hand". Lol....he already listens like a man ;).
* Daddy came in Saturday morning, after working all night Friday. Brandon crawls into bed, and Aiden brings him his pony and tells him "here, daddy you can have a sidekick".
* His excuse these days for getting out of bed, during nap or bedtime, is "I've got a problem" or "Im worried about something". We are planning our first big family trip, where we will be flying. One particular night, he came into our room after we laid him down and said "I'm worried about going on a plane. How will I take my strawberries?" After I told him he might get a special drink, such as sprite on the plane, he was perfectly fine :)
* Everyone is his "new friend".
* At lunch, he had a motorized train on the table "watching" him eat. Then the train began to make his way across the table and move his bowl of peaches. Aiden says "look momma, Thomas is shunting my peaches".
* Aiden (wearing jeans): everybody what r all these holes in my pants?!?
Brandon: well ur momma says its stylish.
Aiden: stylish holes in my pants?!?!?
* We were eating hamburgers at lunch. Aiden pauses and says, "I'm a carnivore, because I eat meat". Stunned, I said "why, yes you are!" He apparently remembers that word from a book about dinosaurs, but I was amazed he remembered the definition for it. :)

Achievements:
* He earned his first patch in AWANAS for memorizing scriptures.
* Knows all letters and their sounds. Also, knows the vowels.
* He's been working very hard completing his responsibilities each day, along with staying "on the green" (we have behavior charts). For each day he does these things, he gets a sticker to go towards a reward. This week he filled up his chart, and will be getting his "Octopod".

Other News:
* Really into Cars, anything Lightening McQueen is a favorite.
* Also, really interested in airplanes. We live pretty close to an airport, and often have to take a detour just to drive by all the "smiling planes". (b/c of their rounded noses, they apparently look like they are smiling)
* Another big interest is any and all sea creatures. He has a couple of books on sharks and we read them 10 times a week! He can name all the sharks, and give you facts. His favorite is the whale shark, which is the big fish in the world!
* Sitting in "big church" (worship service) with us and doing wonderful!
Im sure there are a million other stories, this boy is such a joy!
