Started off by sleeping in with my babies! Aiden woke up around 6:30 wet :/ I changed his clothes, then planned on putting him in bed with me (Brandon was already gone, and it was so nice and cool/cloudy...the perfect weather to cuddle in). Then, as we're walking back into my room to crawl back into bed, we hear Ainsley. So, we all just crawled back into bed and dozed off for about another hour. We then spent about 30 minutes watching Aiden's favorite, Octonauts. It was wonderful!
Next, was breakfast! Muffin Monday!
Next, we got dressed, beds made (had to change Aiden's sheets), teeth brushed, etc. Then we headed outside for about an hour. Aiden's favorite activity these days is running. Up and down the driveway with his push/ride on cars. He loves to race! Ainsley, of course, tries to keep up.
Next, we came back in to start lunch. Surprisingly, both kids at this point were very whiny :/ So, right after lunch I laid Ainsley down. Aiden helped me clean up the kitchen, then he was off to bed too!
Aiden is giving me a REALLY hard time lately with nap time. He started laying around the house with his silkie around 12, but when its time for him to actually lay down around 1, he fights it. The last week or so, he's been getting up a million times! He tip toes out of his room, and says "I have a problem" then proceeds to tell me about his toy, ideas, or stories. Sweet boy! I'm tempted to just let him do away with it, but then he's SO grumpy later, and usually if he'll just lay in his bed for 10 minutes or so, he's out! So, I'm at that point where I'm wondering if he might be ready to give it up, but also unsure that he needs to......
Aiden finally fell asleep, and I had to wake him up around 5. I had to make a quick run to the grocery store for dinner. The kids were both very well behaved, luckily. About an 30 minutes after we got home, daddy got home!
The rest of the night was as always....dinner, bath, stories, rocking Ainsley, putting Aiden in bed a million time (tonight we had a fire alarm that was getting low on battery and it kept chirping, Aiden of course used this as excuse as to why he didn't need to go to bed. So Brandon and Aiden had to take a few minutes to "fix" it.) ya know the usual :) ....
Tuesday:
We had a play-date planned with some people from church. Thatcher and Aiden are in Sunday school and BSF together, and Nicole and I are in the same small group. Ainsley and Chandler are about 5 months apart. We went to the park, then Chick-fil-a for lunch. The boys had lots of fun, and both crashed later :)
During nap, I did my usual...laundry, ironing, bible reading, picking up around the house, and MAYBE squeezing in some blogging.
I can't remember exactly how the night went, but I'm sure it was the usual :)
Wednesday:
Since we were gone most of yesterday, Aiden and I decided that we wanted to spend the morning at home today instead of going to story time. We sat around and played in the playroom. It was a relaxing morning. We even squeezed in some craft time :)

The kids took a decent nap, and afterwards we went outside for a bit. Later, we rushed through dinner to make it to AWANAS on time. Aiden had a good night, and even earned his first patch to put on his vest!
Thursday:
Our BSF morning! It is always such a challenge to get up and get everyone fed, clothed, and packed on these mornings but so worth it. I love the fellowship and Aiden really seems to love going. He always coming home singing songs :)
We went through a drive thru on the way home (I know, bad momma!) then played for about an hour before laying down for naps. During nap, I folded laundry and tried to catch up on blogging. (Glam filled life, right?)
After naps, we went outside for several hours! We started by just playing in the driveway with our riding toys, but then a couple of neighborhood kids came over. Kenzie is 11, and her brother Landon is 9. They were so wonderful with Aiden! They jumped on the trampoline, Kenzie tried to work on the bike riding with Aiden, played hop scotch, drew with chalk, raced up and down the driveway, played at the sand table! They kept Aiden busy for hours, and of course me and Ainsley followed them around trying to keep up :) He loved all the attention. They just thought he was the funniest thing. I finally convinced Aiden that they had to go home and do their homework!
Friday:
We woke up to a rainy, cloudy, cold morning! I love mornings like this, especially when we get to stay at home in our jammies and play! We didn't do anything special, just jump back and forth between the laundry room and the playroom.
We managed to squeeze in some dress up too...
Brandon had to work tonight, so we ordered pizza and visited with daddy for the couple of hours that he was home, before going back to the hospital. Him and the kids raced around the kitchen, wrestled... ya know, daddy stuff :)

We ended our Friday by having our family movie night. Aiden picked Toy Story 3, for the ten billionth time complete with popcorn and milk :)
