Ainsley is 9 months!

My baby is 9 months!!!!

Weight: 20.5 lbs
Height: ~30 inches, as much as we can tell by a wiggly baby
Sleeping:  ALL night, taking two naps a day!
Food:  starting to try table foods, but still no teeth so that limits us.  She will eat almost any "people food" and obviously favors it over baby food.  She is, however, doing better with eating baby food.  She still loves puffs, yogurt melts, and her sippy cup!  She will NOT take bottles!
Diapers:  size 3
Clothes:  12-18 months
Favorites:  paci and fuzzy

What she's been up to....

 * Cutting her first tooth!!!!
 * Crawling and pulling up on everything!  We have several falls a day :/  She is quite dramatic when something happens even when its a small bump, but she's kind of used of used to being the princess :)
 * Trying to stand alone. She will let go and stand for several seconds alone.  I could swear that she's taken one step a couple of times before falling.  Won't be long....
 * Not so new...but she is my constant shadow!  I have to be holding her, in her sight, or shes chasing afer me.  She is a major mommas girl!
* I got her a walker so she could actually follow me around without getting hurt when I had to get things done...major fail!  Now she just follows me around while screaming and "walking" after me.
* She always wants someone right next to her.  She wont sit and play by herself very well.  She loves the attention.  Im starting to see a trend.....can anyone say, high maintance? :)  lol, we don't mind...we are soaking up every cuddle with her while she wants us to.  I want to enjoy my babies!
* Climbing stairs! We don't have any at this house (thank goodness), but discovered that she can when at my mom and dads. Oh boy!
* She has just started "dancing".  When the Mickey Mouse theme song comes on or something of the nature, she stands next to the ottoman and bounces.  SO cute!
* Talking more...the newest word is Na-Na-Na  (my mom is Nonna).  This started during our girls weekend.  My mom kept telling me and Shelby that she thought she was saying it and we didnt believe her until low and behold, we heard it for ourselves.  Not sure if she has the connection but she is definitely saying it.
* She can drink out of a straw!  She loves anything that us big people have.
*  Her nickname has become sis-a-ma-roo.  Even Aiden calls her by it and we all will say it with a tune.
* When you get mad, you will through your paci and/or fuzzy down.

We got her ears pierced!!!!!!
Brandon and I had discussed it for many weeks prior.  I had my done when I was one and have been told by so many people that its better to do it when they're young because they wont remember the pain (although it only lasts for a few seconds), and they dont mess with them, leaving less chances of any infections.  We knew we wanted to get them done eventually, it was just a matter of when.  I decided to do it on my birthday girls weekend in KC!  I chickened out and couldnt hold her while she got it done, so my mom stayed with her while I took Aiden to another store.  She only cried for a few minutes in between them switching ears but once she was done and saw my mom, she stopped :)  So far, shes done great about not bothering them.  I don't think she even knows theyre there.  Brandon was always ok with it, but would get all soft when we discussed and say "but shes just so perfect, should we really punch holes in her".  Well, yes she is and nothing will change that!  Now, she just has some bling to go with it :)

Loves her fuzzy!    Both our babies are such wild sleepers :)
I apparently wore her out during a trip to target.  She seriously is the BEST shopper!

I love this lil missy so much! I just love having a daughter, and dream of the day that hopefully we are best friends.
We love you miss priss!
