I try to write down things as I go so I will remember them but, like I said, I think that is impossible.
Tomorrow I will probably remember more to post but for now, at this late hour, this is what I've got...
37 months
Weight: 29.5 lbs
Clothes: 24mos-2t, most 3t is still too big.
Shoe: size 8
Sleep: still taking one nap a day, and usually youre a bear if you don't get it. :)
Food: still as picky as ever! Seriously, Im not sure what you live off of......wait, I know....MILK! You could care less about sweets of any kind and would rather have cheese, fruit, crackers, or peanuts. You (surprisingly) love your chocolate pedi-sure in the mornings for breakfast. You love ranch, and have to have plenty of it! You also love A1, but you call it "steak ranch". =) Several months ago, when daddy worked a night he brought home McDonalds breakfast (we never do this), and Aiden loved the pancakes! If we're ever out and I ask what he would like to eat 90% of the time, he will say McDonalds but not for anything else except the pancakes! You love sauted green beans and will eat salads pretty good especially if they have lots of black olives. We recently had several friends over and for a treat I let all the kids make thier own ice cream sundaes. Aiden could care less about the ice cream, but found that he has a love of cheeries.
Aiden Randomness:
* one day, I had asked him what he was doing, he replied "Im just chillin"
* you have a noise machine in your room that has the option to play different lullibies or nature sounds, however, you ALWAYS want it playing twinkle twinkle.
* While driving, Shelby had tried to point something out to him out his window. He missed it, and replied "oh well, on the way back Ill see it out sissy's window".....so smart!
* He says our meal time prayer, and one day he had said it really fast. Brandon replied with, "bubba, you dont have to say it so fast. We cant hear it, can you say it a lil slower?" Aiden, just looked at him, folded his hands and said "Come......Lord.......Jesus........" in the slowest voice ever! Me and Brandon just looked at each other and laughed. Already, being sarcastic? Oh boy!
* At dinner one night, Brandon and Aiden were talking about things he wanted to do when he got big. Aiden said he wanted to play soccer ball, baseball, football, basketball, and cannon ball. It has the word "ball", why not?
* You got your blood drawn today and didnt cry. You even watched the blood come out of your arm. You made daddy proud, now he thinks you may be a Dr. someday too.
* You lately have been correcting yourself.
For example, we would drive by "yawnic" aka "sonic". You used to say Annsley instead of Ainsley. Lately, you will really concentrate on how to say them correctly. You did this all on your own, without us ever telling you your were mispronoucing things, because personally we thought it was adorable! Your getting so big!
* Every time your out and you see a flower, you will pick it for mommy. I love this! Daddy started this habit with you, but now you do it all by yourslef. You actually bring me flowers more than daddy does. ;)
What he's been up....
* lots of playdates
* storytimes at the library
* started swim lessons
* lots of traveling, and lots of visits with family
* starting to have responsibilities such as making your bed
* using the potty (occassionally) by yourself
* trying to learn how to ride a bike....its almost as frustrating as potty training!

| The Gibson Family has a horse named Beamer and a bull. Aiden is obsessed with these two! We have to visit them every time we're in town and feed them. When we come back home, he's always talking about them. He will occassionally call Beamer his best friend. |

| The last few months have made me a lil sad because Aiden, although still likes them, does not seem as much into his trains :( I hope he stays into trains for a bit longer. It was his first big interest/hobby. It makes me sad to see the end of this stage. He still gets them out and plays but his newest favorite, is a show on Disney called Octonauts. It is about under water sea creatures. So, lately when he's playing he'll combine the two. For example, Thomas the Train will be trapped in the kelp forest :) I was so excited last week when he asked me to put up his track! These days, Im trying to hold on to the train interst as much as I can. We try to keep the track up for as long as it will survive two kids partly because it takes me half a day to put it all together! We have a playroom where it would normally go, but with lil missy now into everything...it doesnt have much of a fighting chance. So, we moved his track into daddy's office. Im sure he doesnt mind, hehe. |

| This summer we started swim lessons! So far, we've only been a couple of times and he has hung onto the instructor for dear life! My goal at this point is to make him feel comfortable in the water and learn survival skills. I know he will grow to love it, so we will try to stick with it. |
