Fishing Fun!

It has become a family tradition with the Gibsons that every March we go on a fishing trip.  We started 3 years ago, just a few months after Aiden was born.  We had so much fun, we've kept going!  Last year, Aiden just played in the water by splashing his fishing pole and throwing rocks.  This year, Aiden is at that age where he really got excited which made it all that more special.  He had such a blast casting his new "Buzz Lightyear" fishing pole.  Although, he never left it out there long enough to catch anything, daddy made sure that he "caught" his fish.  As soon, as uncle Bryan, daddy, or G-pop would catch a fish...Aiden would reel it in! 

One afternoon, Brandon and I got to go out into the boat with a fishing guide...kid free for 4 hours!  It was a very cold and rainy day on the 50 degree water, but it was so nice to get to spend that time together doing something fun and relaxing, that we didnt even care!  Brandon caught more fish than I did, but the ones I caught were bigger and ended up being the ones we kept....(just had to get that out there)  hehe. 

The guys always have a bet on who will catch the biggest fish, and this year it was G-pop!

Lil Missy enjoyed her first trip!  We walked her down to the bank several times to watch bubba.  Before going on the trip, we spent many afternoons out on the back porch practicing with Aiden on how to cast, and he got GOOD!

As soon as our boat pulled back into the dock, the kids met us.  Aiden couldnt wait to see all the fish mommy and daddy caught!
