This Halloween was Aiden's first year to trick or treat, and it was so fun! We started our day by going to the pumpkin patch with my friend Amanda and her daughter Trista, who is a month older than Ainsley. The pumpkin patch itself was very picked over but Aiden still managed to have a great time. He picked out a pumpkin that was orange on top and black on the bottom half, they call it a "batman" pumpkin. He was so proud and he even gave the cashier his dollar to buy it :).

Later that evening, we got the kids dressed up and went over to Travis and Amanda's house to trick or treat. Aiden practiced on Amanda, then was ready to go! We only went to about 3 houses since it was so cold. The first "real" house we went to...Aiden knocked and said "trick or treat, I'm a train conductor", the older man laughed and bent down to give Aiden some candy. Aiden watched as he put the candy in his train bucket then reached over to the mans bucket and grabbed more! Lol. Luckily the man thought it was cute and said to come back and see him. Aiden really enjoyed his first trick or treating experience.
Ainsley's first Halloween was spent being a twinkie with her friend Trista, and sleeping. They were the cutest owls you've ever seen!
