*Aiden has really started to use his imagination alot lately. Although, he would rather you sit and play with him constantly, when necessary he plays by himself really well. His playroom is right off our kitchen and I love to hear the conversation he has with his trains! A couple of days ago, I hear him playing choo choos and saying "Thomas chugged along happily". =) He will also sit in his crib and talk to himself until we go get him. He often yells for me and if I don't come fast enough will say "oh no, mommas gone" or "momma come see me"!
*Still a VERY picky eater. Eating usually is the last thing on his mind, he would much rather be playing. He weighs about 28lbs.
I'll say it again...this lil boy cracks us up! He definitely has Brandons talkative personality. He's so animated and dramatic (which probably comes from me). A few stories/quotes from the last few weeks...
| LOVES guacamole! |
When at my parents house, we saw 5 deer in their front yard in the middle of the afternoon! When my dad got home from work, Aiden told him about the deer and my dad asked him "did you see any horns on those deer?". Aiden replies, "honk honk" lol
When giving lil sis a bath, he tells me he needs a another baby. I ask "why, you have a baby". He responds, "this baby is crying".
When it was time for his bath, I asked if he needed to go peepee before getting in. He says "nope, I peepeed yesterday".
When in the tub with his bath crayons he says "I can't draw a choo choo". I tell him that he should try because hes a very smart boy. He replies "that's a great idea!".
I was trying to clean up the kitchen and he's in the playroom. He asked me to come play and I tell him I will as soon as I'm finished. Then he begins to "snap" at me only I don't notice this right way. At this point I was done and started walking toward him, and he says "yay it's working, keep snapping!".
Some milestones...
6 weeks: started smiling/cooing
7 weeks: started finding her hands with her mouth and then started trying to put her hand up to her paci to keep it from falling out.
8 weeks: really responding to us with lots of smiles and coos
9 weeks: learned the pout! And man does she do it good! One minute shes smiling and the next she's sticking that lip out!
10 weeks: had her 2 month shots. I made Brandon take her because I'm a wimp :). While sitting in his lap about to get her shots, pooped ALL over him! She currently weighs 14 lbs.
| lovely! I think I'll let the dry cleaners handle this one :) |
