Mother's Day was not just mothers day for us this year. We also decided to participate in our church's baby dedication ceremony. This is the first church since being married that we have became official members of. The last couple of years, we have moved around so much that we went to a church regularly but knew we wouldn't be there for long. So, with that being said...we had never participated in baby dedication. We talked it over and decided what better time!
This dedication, to us, is a time where we commit as parents to raise our children according to God's word. At this time, we also ask the church to pray and support us in doing this. Being a parent is not a job we take lightly. It is a huge blessing but a also a huge responsibility. I think it is so important to have people who will hold you accountable. Please continue to pray that we will raise these precious children in a way that is pleasing to God.
