This party has been so special to me because Aiden has never been this excited over a party before. He is just now hitting that age where he knows all about birthday parties. He's been talking about his birthday for months! Every time we would pass a car lot where they had banners or balloons, he would get all excited and say "its my party". I would respond "not yet, mommy's still working on yours". So when the day had finally come, he couldn't believe it. That morning when he woke up, we told him that today was his party and he said, "no, not yet". =)
Last year, we had a Thomas the Train party, so I wanted to make this party a lil different while keeping the train theme. I had games planned, a coal toss and pin Thomas, but never really needed them. The kids enjoyed playing on the swing set, trampoline, sand table, train table, and of course the "Aiden Express".
I had SO much fun planning Aiden's party this year!

Alot of our family were able to drive up and join us, and I'm kicking myself for not getting any group photos with them. :/ We had a great time with our friends, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and lots of cousins!
