Baby makes 4...

Since my last post, a lot has changed. We now have our newest addition, Miss Ainsley DeNae! She was welcomed into our family on September 2,2011 at 12:53 pm weighing 9lbs 6.8 oz. and measuring 21.5 inches long. A BIG girl! I still cannot believe I had a 9lb baby! No wonder I was SOOOO big!

She is absolutely precious. She holds up her head very well for being a week old. She eats about every three hours, and sleeps most of the time in between. The only thing that she will cry about (other than being hungry) is getting undressed. We have a modest lil girl who does not like being cold! However, she is getting used to getting her diaper changed and having a washcloth bath. When she is awake and not eating she is very content sucking on her pacifier and looking around. She is already quite the shopper, mom and I have taken the kids out a couple of times this past week and she is the perfect lil shopper! She is beautiful with her olive complexion and dark eyes and hair. We are having so much fun dressing her each day, she is our lil baby doll. We are so glad she's finally here, and in our arms.

The big brother, our sweet lil man, has been AMAZING with her! He is so proud of her and is already such a big helper. He loves to try and soothe her when she's crying. He loves to try and give her the pacifier. Also, he will come running to her and ask "what's wrong baby Ainsley" or say "it's okay". We bought him a step stool just for her room so he can come and watch her have a bath, get dressed, or diaper changed. He loves being a part of it. He is just so sweet with her! I'm so proud of him!

The c-section this second time was surprisingly a lot easier to recover from (probably because I didn't go through 12 hours of labor first). We even got to go home a day early because we both were doing so well. My mom is staying with us for the first 2 weeks to help me recover since I can't lift anything heavy or drive. She has been wonderful and Aiden is loving having her here 24/7! They are always playing choo choos or reading books.

We feel so blessed that we have been entrusted with two beautiful, healthy children. I honestly, do not know what we ever did without them!
I have a feeling Brandon is already wrapped around lil misses finger!
