Spring Break 2013

This year for spring break, Brandon took off a week and we had some family time.  It was wonderful!

We started our week by spending a day at home to catch up on house projects.  Tuesday, we left for Branson and spent a couple of days there.  We stayed on the Branson Landing strip but, it was so stinkin' cold our shopping trips were limited.  We spent lots of time at the indoor hotel pool, went to build a bear, the Dixie Stampede (or as Aiden calls it, the horsey show), the Butterfly Palace....basically kid friendly stuff!  We had a great time and was sad to leave.

We ended our spring break with our yearly fishing trip with the Gibson family.  Again, the weather this year was pretty yucky so it limited us :/  Normally, the kids come down to the bank with us and "fish" aka splash in the water, but this year our first day there, it SNOWED!  Regardless, we all had a blast hanging out in the cabin talking, laughing, enjoying the fire, staying up late playing cards, and blowing bubbles inside (for Ainsley)!    Brandon and I went out in the boat one morning for a couple of hours and caught our trout and even a few brown's. 



Snow on the ground + being on the freezing cold water in the wind= Our bodies were NUMB at this point! 

We had a great week!
