I love this girl SO much! Her smile just makes my day, everyday!
* weighs 21.5 lbs
* size 3/4 shoes, but lately we've had to go up depending on the shoe since her foot is so chubby.
* size 3 diapers
* 12-18 mo clothes
* naps around 10 and 1
* sleeps all night, and loves her sleep. She's like her momma, in that she likes to sleep late :)
* still loving her paci and fuzzy
* LOVES her milk in her sippy
Other Updates ....
* walking everywhere! shes been walking since about 10 months, but now she's almost running! Well, maybe not running, but shes getting fast!
* giving us kisses!!!! If you ask her for a kiss, she come at ya with a big wide open mouth, so sweet. Even Aiden likes her kisses :)
* talking....saying "momma, da-da, bubba, nonna, uh-oh" she will mimic "there she is" when we're playing peek a boo.
* when playing peek a boo, she will "hide" her face behind her blanket
* dancing and humming to a tune :) her "songs" are the absolute sweetest!
* loves the pick up game.
* CLIMBING on anything and everything! I love it, but I hate it.....I just know we're going to have a broken arm in our future. I don't remember Aiden ever being this into climbing, so it feels like a whole new adventure
* extremely accident prone. She's always walking into something, or tripping over her own feet. I know this is normal when they're learning to walk, but she's a lil pigeoned toe, which doesn't help the matter. Definitely hoping that gets better!
* tattling! when aiden barely does something, she pouts and comes running to you. oh boy! Granted, usually he is pushing her down and probably deserves to be tattled on, but I have caught her when its barely a push :/
* lately has been really interested in aidens cars or trains. I might not get a girly girl, lol. It may be the lack of girl toys we have in the house, so well see :)
* when playing with aidens cars, she will push them along the rug and make a "vroom" sound. It makes me smile :)
* HATES her face being wiped after a meal.
* prefers to feed herself. She has actually began shaking her head "no" when I try to help her. Poor thing, I know she misses her mouth half the time but she's determined to be independent :)
* has started going to nursery at church for the entire time, bible class and during worship. She's been doing great! The first couple of times she went, two different couples told me how she preferred their husbands over them. oh boy! The first couple is young, no kids yet, and she said that Ainsley just kept scowling at her but would let her husband hold her. The second time, a big stocky man was rocking my baby girl and actually managed to rock her to sleep! She lets us rock her at home, but usually when shes that tired she just wants to be laid down, so I was definitely surprised.
* seeing the ornery streak.... when aiden is not looking she will snatch his milk, car, train, etc then she will come running to me as if its to protect her, lol.
* early this week, she actually stood up for herself. She was playing with something, and aiden came along and preceded to just grab it out of her hands like he usually does, but this time she grunted at him and wouldn't let go........and she won!
* along those same lines...she pushed him down this week and it shocked him to death. He had a stunned look on his face, and said "ainsely pushed me!" Please know....we do NOT encourage pushing at all, but I couldn't help but smile behind my hand because if you only knew how often he pushes her down.....Needless to say, I was equally as stunned as aiden.
Well, this precious girl turns ONE in a few days. I wanted to recap everything she's doing before she hits the big 1! I can't believe it! Time doesn't fly by until you become a parent, for sure.
